Drum Kit Room
Heather's Studio features two drum kits so both teacher and student play during the lesson. Demonstration is made easy and fun! Both kits are outfitted with Remo silent stroke drum heads and Zildjian low volume cymbals. All styles of drum kit instruction are offered from rock, metal, punk, jazz, funk, fusion, Latin, world & ethnic, odd meters, and double bass
Orchestra Room
Classical instruction is offered on all orchestra percussion instruments: snare drum, bells, xylophone, marimba, vibraphone, timpani, bass drum, hand cymbals, and auxillary percussion
Students of Heather's Studio are encouraged to come in to the studio on their off days to practice by themselves on the orchestra instruments. This is FREE and a huge benefit! Prep for solo contests, jury performances, play tests, and band concerts
Marching Percussion & Latin and African Hand Percussion
Heather's Studio will help students move up in drum line with lessons on marching snare, tenors, bass drum, and cymbals. Traditional and matched grip are taught on snare
Congas, bongos, djembe, and cajon lessons are offered as well

Drum & Percusion Clinics and Master Classes
Heather Bouton is available for drum set & percussion clinics and master classes. Host a clinic at your music store or school to inspire players and generate inspiration
What is a drum clinic you ask? A drum clinic is a group demonstration of technique, musicality, speed, drum tuning & intonation, & practical application of skills by a qualified clinician. Techniques are broken down & explained in detail followed by a Q & A session. During a master class, students will be encouraged to participate. Heather is pleased to offer clinics on a variety of drum set techniques and styes as well as orchestral and marching percussion
In Home Drum Kit Tuning & Set-up
Complete set-up and tuning $125.00 standard 5 pc. kit
This includes everything from setting up the drum kit ergonomically to fit the player, repair of any broken hardware, replacing any worn or old drum heads, cleaning the shells and cymbals, and tuning the entire kit all in the convenience of your home. Also Heather will teach the student how to tune and maintain their drum sound. Price does not include the cost of heads or replacement parts
Go Pro Video Recording Session
$150.00
Go Pro Recording Session consists of a student professionally recording 2 songs or musical selections with a Hero 4 Go Pro Camera here at the studio. The quality will be suitable for publishing to You Tube
The session will include:
•Proper drum kit set-up and tuning of student's personal kit or use of the studio's kit
•Coached recording session on how to track and record drums
•2 songs recorded, video and audio with pro lighting and sound
•Both videos edited, mastered, and converted to You Tube files suitable for posting to social media
•Videos will be published to Heather's Studio You Tube channel
